The highest point on the rail trail, this location is reached by a very long grade which when approached from the west starts near Kanumbra. Between Tallarook and Kanumbra the rail trail is fairly close to the main highways. From Kanumbra the trail leaves the road and goes through quiet farmland (with numerous magpies, so watch out if riding it in Spring) to reach this location. From Merton Gap the rail trail follows close to the main roads again all the way into Mansfield.

This goods shed is quite different to all the other existing goods sheds on the track. It is much smaller, and does not have the roof line overhanging the platforms like the other examples. There must be some reason why this shed is different, but I don't know what that reason is.
